Just found out that a colleagues brother is employed repairing base satellites, this involves being on call and travelling to various parts of the world (some being the remotest spots in Africa).  Where was the careers advisor on that one, all I got was “Stay at school, improve your education and then you may be able to work in a Bank”.  Doesn’t quite have the same ring to it!

Having said all that, is it wrong that whilst jealous of the travel and adventure I am trying to work out how many thin metal etched parts could be involved in the satellite’s and the diagnostic tools?
