Energy and Water Use Policy Statement

Policy Statement

In line with our Environmental Management System and Policy, Photofabrication Ltd is committed to minimising our energy and water consumption and the impact our business has on the environment from these aspects. 

A commitment has been made that the company will improve energy and water use efficiency by reviewing energy and water consumption at regular intervals and implement Continuous Improvements using Best Practical Environmental Options. Actions, in these areas, have been identified, as necessary, from a review of the Company’s Environmental Aspects and Impacts.

The Energy and Water Use Objectives and Targets plan will be reviewed at regular intervals and updated each year.

Photofabrication Ltd is committed to:

  2. Increasing our energy efficiency.
  3. Reducing our emissions of CO2
  4. Invest in clean, energy efficient technologies where financially viable.
  5. Reducing all environmental impact arising from our consumption of energy.
  6. Reduce where possible water consumption.
  7. Raising staff awareness and commitment to reduce energy consumption.
  8. Publishing our objectives, quantified targets and annual progress.

Improving on Past Performance

Measured against the past performance baseline, corporate targets are:

  1. Energy efficiency improvement of 5% over 3 years.
  2. Reduction in CO2 emissions of 5% over 3 years.

Long Term Corporate Goals

  1. Minimising our energy costs.
  2. Increasing our energy efficiency.
  3. Reducing our emissions of CO2
  4. Investing in clean, energy efficient technologies where financially viable.
  5. Reducing all environmental impact arising from our consumption of energy as far as is practical within the operation constraints of the business.
  6. Monitor and where possible reduce water consumption.

Medium Term Objectives (3 Year Timescale)

  1. Minimise energy costs where possible.
  2. Increase energy efficiency by a minimum of 5% over a 3 year period.
  3. Decrease CO2 emissions by a minimum of 5% over a 3 year period.
  4. Under new projects fully assess the potential for utilising energy efficient technologies for financial viability.
  5. Reduce water consumption by 5% over a 3 year period.
