Effluent Investment – January 2011

Photofabrictaion are dedicated to protecting the environment and applying any and all advances in technology to improve the way processed liquid is treated, recycled and re-used.  This has led to the introduction of a new “ÂŁ50,000 plus” investment in effluent treatment facilities.  All processing water is now treated to neutralise any harmful levels of acid or alkaline.  Much of the treated water is now re-used within the facilities and that which cannot be used is disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. The electronic control system allows dosing to regenerate the chemicals and make them last longer which is energy efficient.  It also allows us to regularly monitor the performance of the treatment facilities so refinements and improvements can continually me made.
