Well, last day has arrived and we are shutdown from close of business today until Tuesday 3rd January.Β Let me take this opportunity to wish one and all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Beware though, apparently we each consume on average 7000 calories each on Christmas Day!Β I figured this can’t be possible, however I was put straight – they actually include alcohol!

Only 3 sleeps to Christmas, a couple of friendly members of staff have been kindly counting down on a daily basis.Β There are 3 of us also planning a last day at work run tomorrow morning, if you believe all you hearΒ 1 of us will be in full racing kit,Β 1 in high heels and running gear andΒ 1 in high heels and a mankini!
If there is no update tomorrow, I will be bailing out the man in the heels and mankini.
The day has finally arrived, the Photofab Christmas Party.Β Always a good evening which has recently been held on a weekday evening, this pretty much results in the evening finishing at midnight.Β However, given no-one being at work in the morning, this could be a long one!
Finally it is Xmas Eve, let me take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
Fewer and fewer people about now, the rules on who can take holiday at the same time at Photofabrication have been relaxed and haven’t the staff taken advantage of it – really is no-one here but us chickens!
Only a couple of days to go, all of my shopping done and a day with the in laws in prospect.Β Actually I am fortunate to get on well with my in laws so all good, what I should mention is there is a child with us this year.Β To anyone who doesn’t know me they may wonder what the issue is – I’m not child friendly, never really known what to do!Β Should be interesting.
Apparently today is “Crazy Friday”, so called as it is the most popular day / night for office parties.Β We had ours on Wednesday night and a good time had by all, only one person late the following morning which was down to his children unplugging his alarm clock – I’ll leave you to decide if you believe that or not!
The Photofab Xmas Raffle took place last night at our annual Xmas Party, a huge thank you to all who kindly donated prizes.Β Organised by our very own Kylee who put a lot of effort in which showed in the smooth running of the raffle.Β The combined efforts of Kylee (Raffle) and Lorraine (Tuck Box) helped raise over Β£700 for charity.
Well done to all.
3 days to go now until the Photofab Xmas Party, where there will be much joy and merriment.Β Just a little word or warning, if you call on Thursday morning please speak quietly – there may be some sore heads!
Kylee is organising a Christmas raffle at Photofab, we have a Christmas party each year and this year Kylee has managed to get a number of excellent prizes for the raffle, all proceeds going to charity.Β This has been down to the generosity of suppliers and many local businesses.Β A couple of employees have even brought a prize for the raffle, a radio controlled helicopter – that could be fun on the night!
