In house graphic tooling service
Tool Design

Graphic tooling made in house
Our Graphics Department will advise on the type of file or artwork required, whether it be in electronic format or a good old fashioned hard copy. Graphic tooling is made in-house using the latest CAD facilities.

Metallurgical advice provided
Our Metallurgy Department can give guidance on the type, specification and thickness of metal best suited to your application. We hold a wide range of metals in stock as well as various thicknesses of each metal type, ranging from .001" (.025mm) to .060" (1.5mm).

Close up of forming process

Formed parts using in house tooling
For post etching processes our engineers are able to advise on tricky design problems. We are able to offer forming solutions to suit individual needs, as all hard tooling is made in-house, in our recently updated toolroom.

Computerised production control for increased reliability
We use a state of the art computerised production control system, which amongst other things, can track the progress of any give order, so we know exactly where your order is within our system. We have increased our etching facilities to include a new etching machine and two new cleaning lines, thus enabling us to turn around parts in 24 hours, for rapid prototype requirements.

Computerised measurement

Computerised measurement for increased accuracy and conformance
Most importantly, parts are inspected visually and dimensionally at 3 different stages during the process, to ensure they meet the requirements that you have specified, from being within the correct tolerance to having a 'clean' finish.

If you have a component in thin sheet metal, let us quote you by return. Contact us and attach your drawing or telephone us on 01480 226699 for more information.
